Personalised & Made To Order

Many of our pieces are personalised by hand and made to order, which means each one is created especially for you and your little cricket.

All personalisation is carried out in-house by us, with some pieces lovingly embroidered by Granny Cricket, a familiar face at our trader markets who you may already recognise. It is very much a family effort, and each item is made with care, patience, and attention to detail.

 

Creation timelines

Personalised and made to order items typically take 3–4 weeks to create before dispatch. During particularly busy periods or where designs are more detailed, this can occasionally extend to up to 6 weeks. We always aim to complete orders as promptly as possible and will keep timelines realistic and transparent.

 

Need your knit sooner?  

If you are ordering for a specific date or an unexpected event such as a family photoshoot, please send us a message before placing your order. Where we can reasonably accommodate this, we will always try to help, but availability will depend on current workloads.

Send-in personalisation service

Our send-in service allows you to post items to us for personalisation, including items previously purchased from Little Crickets or similar garments such as t-shirts, hats, knitwear or keepsake pieces.

To begin, please purchase a send-in slot online via our website, which can be found in the Personalised section of our store. This allows you to select your personalisation details and ensures we can track your item correctly when it arrives with us.

If you are unsure whether an item is suitable, please contact us before purchasing a send-in slot and we will happily advise.

How the send-in service works

  1. Purchase a send-in slot online and select your personalisation details at checkout.
  2. Parcel up your item and post it to us using tracked or signed-for delivery. You cover this postage cost.
  3. Enclose a note with your full name, order number, and return address.
  4. Once we receive your item, we personalise it to the specifications chosen.
  5. Once complete, we post your item back to you. Return postage is covered by us.

 

Returns and personalised items

As personalised and made to order items are created specifically for you, they are non-refundable and non-returnable once the order has been processed.

If there is an issue with your order or something is not as expected, please contact us and we will always do our best to help.
